I ran my own auto electrical I electronic service company, repairing and servicing alternators, starter
motors and general electrical repairs. As is usual with many small companies, I performed many tasks
including electro-mechanical and agricultural repairs. I found the experience very educational and feel
that I learnt a great deal from the work I performed. However it became apparent that the volume of work
was not substantial enough to support my family at the time, so reluctantly I had to give up the business,
voluntarily. I have all the equipment from this business in my garage, and on a part time basis, still
perform some tasks as a hobby.
