The Church of Latter-Day Saints implemented changes to its Sabbath day curriculum on January 1, 2018. The new curriculum does away with lesson manuals and replaces them with objectives developed through monthly council meetings. Discussions will now focus on recent general conference talks or topics selected by church leadership over a six-month period. The changes aim to make discussions more spiritually directed and relevant to members' lives.
