Σουρεαλιστικά ταξίδια μέσα από την τέχνη
<<Τα σουρεαλιστικά ταξίδια μέσα από την τέχνη>> υλοποιήθηκαν στο πλαίσιο της διδασκαλίας των Εικαστικών μαθημάτων και αποτέλεσαν μέρος των καινοτόμων εκπαιδευτικών μας προγραμμάτων. Φιλοτεχνήθηκαν από τους μαθητές και μαθήτριες από το 22ο Δημοτικό Σχολείο Αθήνας. Τα έργα των παιδιών παρουσιάστηκαν σε έκθεση στο Σχολείο. Έγινε διάχυση μέσω διαδικτύου και οι δημιουργίες των αξιοποιήθηκαν για την αλληλεπίδραση με συνεργαζόμενα Σχολεία. Δημιουργήθηκαν αρχεία διαθεματικής προσέγγισης, σε συνεργασία με άλλα γνωστικά αντικείμενα. Διδασκαλία: Θεοδώρα Χανδρινού. Σχολικό έτος: 2023 - 2024.

"Το οικολογικό και δημιουργικό Σχολείο μας / Our eco-friendly and creative School" είναι το καινοτόμο εκπαιδευτικό μας πρόγραμμα, περιβαλλοντικής εκπαίδευσης, που υλοποιήθηκε στο 41 Δημοτικό Σχολείο Αθήνας "Νικόλαος Γύζης", με όχημα τη διδασκαλία των Εικαστικών. Τα παιδιά συνεργάστηκαν, με ζήλο και ιδιαίτερο ενθουσιασμό, σε αλληλεπίδραση με Σχολεία από την Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό! Εικαστικό παιχνίδι συμπερίληψης στην τάξη με τον Joan Miró
Το σχολικό έτος 2022-2023 στο 41 Δημοτικό Σχολείο Αθήνας "Νικόλαος Γύζης", στο πλαίσιο της διδασκαλίας των Εικαστικών με υπεύθυνη την Θεοδώρα Χανδρινού, υλοποιήθηκε ένα εικαστικό παιχνίδι συμπερίληψης με αφορμή το έργο του Ισπανού δημιουργού Joan Miró. Οι μαθητές και οι μαθήτριες της ΣΤ' τάξης, μέσα από τα έργα τους, δίδαξαν τα παιδιά των μικρότερων τάξεων. Έγινε διάχυση της δραστηριότητας στο καινοτόμο μας πρόγραμμα «Πορτραίτα, Συναισθήματα, Χρώματα και Μελωδίες». Το παιχνίδι ολοκληρώθηκε με την διερεύνηση ήχων και μελωδιών, που τα παιδιά επέλεξαν, για να εκφράσουν τα χρώματα και τα συναισθήματα που αποτυπώνονταν στις εικόνες.

Βενετσιάνικες μάσκες με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά από την Θεοδώρα Χανδρινού
Η παρουσίαση με ιδέες για την κατασκευή Βενετσιάνικης μάσκας με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά αποτελεί ανατροφοδότηση βιωματικού σεμιναρίου που υλοποιήθηκε. Στο πλαίσιο των επιμορφωτικών σεμιναρίων, για Εκπαιδευτικούς της πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης, παρουσίασα ιδέες και δημιουργικές κατασκευές με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά. Οι κατασκευές μπόρεσαν να υλοποιηθούν στην τάξη, με την ομαδοσυνεργατική μέθοδο. Διδασκαλία, επιμέλεια: Θεοδώρα Χανδρινού. Ευχαριστώ για το ενδιαφέρον σας!

Τιμώντας την παγκόσμια ημέρα για την Γιορτή της Μητέρας είχαμε μία εξαιρετική συνεργασία μεταξύ Σχολείων από την Αρμενία, και την Ελλάδα, στο πλαίσιο του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος eTwinning "Our school routine.". Τα παιδιά συνδύασαν έργα τους και φωτογραφίες με ποιήματα και μηνύματα. Το σχολικό έτος 2021 - 2022 με τα παιδιά του 4ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου Ζωγράφου συμμετείχαμε δημιουργικά! During the school year 2021 -2022 in the framewwork of the educational eTwinning project "Our school routine." the Schools from Armenia and Greece had an excellent collaboration, for the Mothe's Day celebrations! Art creations, photos and poems joined the pupils and through that way they sent the most precious messages to their mothers!! eTwinning project "My dear LADIES" evaluation - Greece
Παρουσιάζεται η αξιολόγηση του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος eTwinning project "My dear LADIES" που υλοποιήθηκε το Σχολικό 2018-2019. Ήταν αποτέλεσμα μίας όμορφης συνεργασία μεταξύ μαθητών από δύο χώρες, την Ελλάδα και την Ουκρανία. Με τους μαθητές μου από το 20ο Δημοτικό Σχολείο Αιγάλεω δημιουργήσαμε εκπαιδευτικό υλικό και παρουσιάσεις, ένα μικρό δείγμα από τα οποία συμπεριλαμβάνω στην αξιολόγηση του έργου.

"The fantastic trees of Recycling" are creations of the pupils of the 4th primary School of Zografou, Athens, Greece. The Art work realized during the School year 2017 -2018, in the frame-work of the Greek National and eTwinning international projects, under the supervision of the Art Teacher Theodora Chandrinou and presented in open to public exhibitions and events.

Paper presented in the International Conference "Ethics and Aesthetics in personality development - Education and self- shaping through art" , 6th edition, GH. Zane Institute, Iasi, Romania - coordinator Phd Marinela Rusu / 15 of May 2015. In the events Hall an Art exhibition, with the pupils' creations took place, under my (Theodora Chandrinou) coordination and it was part of my paper presentation. The creations of my pupils were part of the Greek National and eTwinning International educational projects. A creative dialogue followed among the scientific comminity members.

Το σχολικό έτος 2022-2023 στο 41 Δημοτικό Σχολείο Αθήνας "Νικόλαος Γύζης", στο πλαίσιο της διδασκαλίας των Εικαστικών με υπεύθυνη την Θεοδώρα Χανδρινού, υλοποιήθηκε ένα εικαστικό παιχνίδι συμπερίληψης με αφορμή το έργο του Ισπανού δημιουργού Joan Miró. Οι μαθητές και οι μαθήτριες της ΣΤ' τάξης, μέσα από τα έργα τους, δίδαξαν τα παιδιά των μικρότερων τάξεων. Έγινε διάχυση της δραστηριότητας στο καινοτόμο μας πρόγραμμα «Πορτραίτα, Συναισθήματα, Χρώματα και Μελωδίες». Το παιχνίδι ολοκληρώθηκε με την διερεύνηση ήχων και μελωδιών, που τα παιδιά επέλεξαν, για να εκφράσουν τα χρώματα και τα συναισθήματα που αποτυπώνονταν στις εικόνες.

Βενετσιάνικες μάσκες με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά από την Θεοδώρα Χανδρινού
Η παρουσίαση με ιδέες για την κατασκευή Βενετσιάνικης μάσκας με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά αποτελεί ανατροφοδότηση βιωματικού σεμιναρίου που υλοποιήθηκε. Στο πλαίσιο των επιμορφωτικών σεμιναρίων, για Εκπαιδευτικούς της πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης, παρουσίασα ιδέες και δημιουργικές κατασκευές με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά. Οι κατασκευές μπόρεσαν να υλοποιηθούν στην τάξη, με την ομαδοσυνεργατική μέθοδο. Διδασκαλία, επιμέλεια: Θεοδώρα Χανδρινού. Ευχαριστώ για το ενδιαφέρον σας!

Τιμώντας την παγκόσμια ημέρα για την Γιορτή της Μητέρας είχαμε μία εξαιρετική συνεργασία μεταξύ Σχολείων από την Αρμενία, και την Ελλάδα, στο πλαίσιο του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος eTwinning "Our school routine.". Τα παιδιά συνδύασαν έργα τους και φωτογραφίες με ποιήματα και μηνύματα. Το σχολικό έτος 2021 - 2022 με τα παιδιά του 4ου Δημοτικού Σχολείου Ζωγράφου συμμετείχαμε δημιουργικά! eTwinning project "My dear LADIES" evaluation - Greece
Παρουσιάζεται η αξιολόγηση του εκπαιδευτικού προγράμματος eTwinning project "My dear LADIES" που υλοποιήθηκε το Σχολικό 2018-2019. Ήταν αποτέλεσμα μίας όμορφης συνεργασία μεταξύ μαθητών από δύο χώρες, την Ελλάδα και την Ουκρανία. Με τους μαθητές μου από το 20ο Δημοτικό Σχολείο Αιγάλεω δημιουργήσαμε εκπαιδευτικό υλικό και παρουσιάσεις, ένα μικρό δείγμα από τα οποία συμπεριλαμβάνω στην αξιολόγηση του έργου.

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic Imperative
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
