The responsibility of Christians in regards to economic developm.docxkathleen23456789
The responsibility of Christians in regards to economic development, leadership within the community, as a Christians God has given us all spiritual gifts and with these gifts, we are to use those gifts to provide leadership in our communities and to ensure economic growth as well. In addition to the spiritual gifts, we also have scripture to use as guidance to set an example for others and serve others as Jesus served others during his three years of ministry. The gifts that God gave us according to I Corinthians 12(NIV) are administration, discernment, faith, healing, knowledge, wisdom, miracles, prophecy, teaching, speaking in tongues, and the interpretation of the tongues. These gifts can and should be used within every community according to Proverbs 29:7 (NIV) The righteous care about justice for the poor but the wicked have no such concern. In disadvantage and non-disadvantage communities as a Christian, I have to ensure that any economic development plans will meet the needs of everyone within that community.
The gifts that God has blessed us with are to be used to help one another but also to be effective in our stewardship with others but also with our actions we are showing love for those in need as God has commanded us in scripture. I John 3:17-18 tells us that if we have material possessions and know that our brothers and sisters are in need but we show no love towards them how can the love of God be in us however we cannot love with words or speech but with actions and truth. Teaching members of the community how to be productive, prosperous but also showing God like love within the community benefits everyone and draws people closer to God.
Our leaders have a responsibility to coordinate each step of the local economic development process as well as the development strategy plan that requires fiscal resources, technical expertise, leadership, and imagination (Leigh and Blakely, 2017, p.439). God has shown us in Acts 20:35 (NIV) That everything he did, he showed us that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Therefore, leaders, the technical experts, and others involved must be available to assist in identifying and mobilizing all resources to carry out strategic planning by working hard. Furthermore, due to the decrease in public revenue, private funding of economic development has increased and economic development organizations due to pressure must track their performance to show what the return is to their investors (Leigh and Blakely, 2017, pp.439, 453).
Subsequently, as Christian leaders we have a responsibility to make a difference in our community as God have command us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. The Lord gave us commandments to follow and spiritual leaders to lead his flock therefore good governance is the protection of inalienable (meaning God-given) rights, life, liberty, and.

This document discusses the importance and benefits of generosity. It argues that true joy comes from generously giving to God's plan and purposes, not from accumulating wealth. A generous person needs less and focuses on helping others and spreading the gospel. The document also discusses that God loves a cheerful giver and that he entrusts his resources to people to use wisely and generate more resources to further his work. Christian leaders should help people in their groups develop generous hearts by teaching biblical stewardship, sharing stories of generous giving, and providing opportunities to partner in spreading the gospel.

This document is an introduction to a study guide about Christian stewardship authored by Bradley O. Reiners. It begins by defining a steward as someone who manages property or resources for the benefit of others, and defines Christian stewardship as taking responsibility for one's life and possessions with regard for others. It notes that stewardship is often misunderstood as only relating to money, when it should be a holistic approach. The study guide will examine stewardship through the lenses of God as creator, owner, and perfect gift-giver, and how this impacts our understanding of being stewards of God's gifts. It provides discussion questions to help readers reflect on these concepts.
This document outlines a 5-session class on Christian stewardship that covers various areas of responsibility. Session 5 focuses on finances and giving. 3. Give all you can through regular tithes to your church and generous giving to other ministries and the poor.
4. Remove debt as quickly as possible by eliminating new debt, prioritizing repayment, and reducing spending if needed. Leaders must model integrity in their personal finances.

The Central Ohio Legacy Fund aims to fund Christian ministries in central Ohio through a for-profit life insurance agency model. The agency, Legacy Life, would donate commissions from selling life insurance to establish a donor fund housed at the National Christian Foundation. This would provide long-term funding for various local ministries through the life insurance proceeds and commissions over time. The founders developed this model by discussing estate planning and philanthropic goals with clients, and see it as a way to activate more kingdom-focused giving and support underfunded ministries in the region.

Financial Freedom: Based on Crown Ministries materialsVector Consultants
In the Bible, Jesus had more to say about money than about heaven and hell. Nearly half of Jesus' parables are about possessions. There are over 23,250 scripture references.
Christian finances often mirror those of non-Christians, with many living paycheck to paycheck and having little savings. The document advocates adopting God's financial plan outlined in scripture, which includes tithing 10% of one's income. Research shows tithers have less debt, more savings and assets. While tithing reduces income, it encourages budgeting and financial stability. The document argues Christians should have a distinct financial worldview focused on working to give rather than have. Adopting biblical financial principles can benefit individuals and help the church's witness.

It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
