Little is currently known about cheating among graduate business students. We collected
data from more than 5,000 business (mostly MBA) and nonbusiness graduate students at
32 colleges and universities in the United States and Canada during the 2002–2003 and
2003–2004 academic years to test a series of hypotheses regarding the prevalence of
graduate business student cheating and reasons why these students cheat. We found that
graduate business students cheat more than their nonbusiness-student peers. Correlation
results found cheating to be associated with perceived peer behavior, as well as the
perceived certainty of being reported by a peer, and the understanding and acceptance
of academic integrity policies by students and faculty. But, regression analysis results
suggest that perceived peer behavior has the largest effect. Drawing from these findings
and past research on undergraduate students, we propose strategies that business schools
and faculty can use to promote academic integrity in graduate business programs.

As this student suggests, high-profile ethics scan-
dals have once again focused attention on ethics
and cheating in business. Some business schools
are responding by expanding their attention to
ethics in their curricula, and some are attempting
to make judgments about an applicant’s ethical
inclinations in admissions processes (Harker,
2005). In addition, some schools are promoting ac-
ademic integrity as part of their strategy to en-
hance the ethical development of their students.
These efforts related to academic integrity com-
monly include lectures during orientation ses-
sions, website pages and chapters in student
handbooks devoted to ethical standards, and ad-
monishments in course syllabi. Although such
techniques have been found to be effective in un-
dergraduate schools (Baird, 1980), little is known
about their effective.
Dissertation jaro education
The report summarizes Kavya Bhasin's dissertation project analyzing professionals' behavior towards online education at Jaro Education. The project uses a descriptive research methodology and secondary data to analyze Jaro Education's sales funnel of leads, from initial cold leads to enrolled students. Key findings include that of 2249 total leads provided by Jaro Education, 1851 said no to further contact, 398 showed initial interest, and 4 ultimately enrolled in a program after meetings. The time period for the study limited a more in-depth analysis.
Why Can't Michael Jackson Do Heart Surgery?

6.1 Key Strategic Issues
Identifying key strategic issues is an act of synthesis, that is, taking what you know about the organization and its changing environment
(the situation analysis) and pinpointing the key questions and concerns the organization must address in its strategic plan. Strategic issues
derive from both external and internal sources. The former includes the company's industry, competitors, customers, suppliers, opportunities
and threats, and other environmental forces. The latter includes key organizational resources, culture, technology, or strategic decisions that
the company must address. For example, consider a medium-sized private university based in the United States. Some critical external
strategic issues may include the nature of private higher education in the United States; the attitude toward it of the surrounding community;
legislation and policy governing higher education; the pool of graduating PhDs, which represents potential faculty; economic forces

It is recommended that the Mathematics department roll out a strategic enrollment plan to increase the number of women and underrepresented minority groups to the major. Lastly, it is recommended that the College create a stronger workforce development program by introducing an applied project, “…allowing students to practice problem-solving skills, communication skills, and if they are working in a group, teamwork skills as well” (Banta, 2015, p. 159).
It will cost an average of $62,000 per year to hire a Ph.D. level Engineering adjunct professor to teach five sections of 100-level Engineering courses. We have learned in previous modules that careers in Mathematics are looking for some working knowledge of Engineering and the curriculum, as it stands right now, does not offer that.
The recommendation to increase enrollment is to specifically recruit women and underrepresented minority groups to the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics majors, also known as STEM. Using the model described in Information Systems Education Journal, this growth in enrollment should come from a combination of faculty outreach to the community through classroom visits to community colleges, and by appointing these newly recruited students to a formal grant-funded “scholars” program. My recommendation would be for Jamestown College to hire a contract grant writer to the Mathematics program for $35,000 per year with no benefits. This grant writer should work to secure a grant from the National Science Foundation to fund a “scholars” program which will, “provide guidance and continued support to women and underrepresented minorities from the beginning of their experiences in higher education until they reach their goal of a career in science, technology, and mathematics” (Tupper, D.H., 2005, p. 4).
Enhancing workforce development through an applied project is recommended for the Mathematics major at Jamestown College. “Because applied projects include a product or report that is shared with clients, clients are generally involved in project evaluation” (Banta, 2015, p. 159 ). Little is currently known about cheating among graduate business students. We collected
data from more than 5,000 business (mostly MBA) and nonbusiness graduate students at
32 colleges and universities in the United States and Canada during the 2002–2003 and
2003–2004 academic years to test a series of hypotheses regarding the prevalence of
graduate business student cheating and reasons why these students cheat. We found that
graduate business students cheat more than their nonbusiness-student peers. Correlation
results found cheating to be associated with perceived peer behavior, as well as the
perceived certainty of being reported by a peer, and the understanding and acceptance
of academic integrity policies by students and faculty. But, regression analysis results
suggest that perceived peer behavior has the largest effect. Drawing from these findings
and past research on undergraduate students, we propose strategies that business schools
and faculty can use to promote academic integrity in graduate business programs.

As this student suggests, high-profile ethics scan-
dals have once again focused attention on ethics
and cheating in business. Some business schools
are responding by expanding their attention to
ethics in their curricula, and some are attempting
to make judgments about an applicant’s ethical
inclinations in admissions processes (Harker,
2005). In addition, some schools are promoting ac-
ademic integrity as part of their strategy to en-
hance the ethical development of their students.
These efforts related to academic integrity com-
monly include lectures during orientation ses-
sions, website pages and chapters in student
handbooks devoted to ethical standards, and ad-
monishments in course syllabi. Although such
techniques have been found to be effective in un-
dergraduate schools (Baird, 1980), little is known
about their effective.
Dissertation jaro education
The report summarizes Kavya Bhasin's dissertation project analyzing professionals' behavior towards online education at Jaro Education. The project uses a descriptive research methodology and secondary data to analyze Jaro Education's sales funnel of leads, from initial cold leads to enrolled students. Key findings include that of 2249 total leads provided by Jaro Education, 1851 said no to further contact, 398 showed initial interest, and 4 ultimately enrolled in a program after meetings. The time period for the study limited a more in-depth analysis.
Why Can't Michael Jackson Do Heart Surgery?

Identifying key strategic issues is an act of synthesis, that is, taking what you know about the organization and its changing environment
(the situation analysis) and pinpointing the key questions and concerns the organization must address in its strategic plan. Strategic issues
derive from both external and internal sources. The former includes the company's industry, competitors, customers, suppliers, opportunities
and threats, and other environmental forces. The latter includes key organizational resources, culture, technology, or strategic decisions that

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
