This document provides a recipe for making Ice Cream Bath Truffles. The ingredients include cocoa butter, shea butter, baking soda, citric acid, cocoa powder, sodium lauryl sulfate, and chocolate angel fragrance oil. The instructions are to melt the butters and mix in the fragrance oil. Then add that to a dry mixture of the baking soda, citric acid and cocoa powder. 2oz Cocoa Butter
1oz Shea Butter
1 Cup Baking Soda
½ Citric Acid
5 Tablespoons Cocoa Powder
½ Cup Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLSA)
1oz Chocolate Angel Fragrance Oil

4. Step 1
1. Measure out the shea and cocoa butters.
2. Melt them in a microwave-safe bowl using
30 second increments and stirring in
between.
3. Once completely melted, remove from heat
and place aside to cool.

5. Step 2
1. Sift together your Baking Soda, Citric Acid
and Cocoa powder.
2. Mix well to be sure there are no clumps.
3. You can also do this with your hands while
wearing rubber kitchen gloves if you’d like.
4. You’ll also want to wear a mask to avoid
inhaling any of the powders.

6. Step 3
1. Allow the melted butters to cool.
2. Add fragrance oil and mix it up very well!
3. Great alternatives would be vanilla,
raspberry, orange, cinnamon….

7. Step 4
1. Add your liquid ingredients to the dry
ingredients.
2. Using your gloved hands, mix everything
together in a sort of kneading/squishing
manner.
3. The mixture should be the consistency of
cookie dough when everything is
completely incorporated.

8. Step 5
1. Using the ice cream scoop, scoop out
the dough in evenly sized balls and
place them on a piece of parchment
paper to set.

9. Step 6
1. Let the truffles sit for 15-30 minutes.
2. Store them in an airtight bag or container
until ready to use or package for gifting.

10. Final Thoughts
To use, simply plop one into your next hot
bath and completely indulge yourself in
their yummy goodness. You’ll step out of
the tub with silky, soft skin after enjoying a
fragrant bath that smells deliciously like a
huge scoop of chocolate ice cream. And
then you’ll probably want to eat some ice
cream. It’s okay.
