The CHMK Library was established in 1971 with a floor area of 2056.79 square meters. It has over 1 lakh documents and 5000 users. It was the first fully automated university library in Kerala. It has collections of over 97,000 books, 272 journals, 2,671 theses, 205 microforms, and 2,105 bound journal volumes. It provides access to over 14,000 e-journals and e-books through various consortia. It has migrated from LibSys to the Koha open source library management system and hosts an institutional repository using DSpace.
