This year is the Year of the Dragon according to the 12-year cycle of animals. Legends say the Chinese people used loud noises and the color red to scare away an attacking dragon called Nian. The final day of celebration involves massive festivities.

calendar. This year is the year of the
dragon. They have a new animal every
year. Next year is the snake and after
that it is the year of the horse.

tried to scare off a dragon called Nian.

 11th and 12th= Dinner with friends and family
