• This information will be accessible even if you are on

Each selection will filter the available choices in
the sections.
You will be presented with only the values that is
available, you can click the “full chart list” link
that is next to the Vehicle Configuration Filter

mileage-based service recommendation for that vehicle
configuration and selected operating conditions
To scroll between different milage intervals, select the
“<<Look Back” and “Look Ahead>>” links. It will move you
backward and forward to the next recommended service
interval.
In the “Enter Mileage” box, you can enter the vehicle’s
current mileage and then click enter
It will bring up the recommended service interval for the
milage entered, the milage is round up to the next
recommended service intervals.
To see the full maintenance chart with all the defined
service interval, select the “View Full Chart” link.

• If the Labor Estimating Category is available for your
selected vehicle, you will be able to lookup Chilton labor
times for various operations perform on your vehicle
Information is updated on an ongoing basis to ensure the
most up-to-date date on the selected vehicle
• Once you click the Labor Estimating category, it will be
accessible even if you decide to search a separate category
of the vehicle
• Just select the Labor Estimating tab on the navigation bar
to return to the Labor Estimating screen

Search Operations window. It will allow you to
search for specific labor option or pick from multiple
defined labor operations for your selected vehicle
• If you would like to look at a different vehicle than

• The available Labor Operations that are listed for a Regular
service type situation, as noted by the Time Category
“Regular” time category is defined by the labor times for most

• You can also get Labor Times based severe service schedule by
clicking the Severe label
“Severe” time category is defined by heavy use, high mileage,
dirty or rusted items, etc. which will cause the hours to change
because of the extra work that will be involved

• Chilton does not provide local labor cost as there
are too many variable to consider with each repair
and locality
