1. From 29 June to 11 August, international artists, researchers and scientists will come together in San Donato in Poggio, Tuscany, one of the
most beautiful backdrops in the world. The ‘stars’ of the Chianti Star Festival are numerous: the international artists who will be exhibiting
at Palazzo Malaspina works stimulating reflections on the relationship between art and science, the astral stars that can be observed from
the Chianti Observatory and the film stars, thanks to a mini film festival curated by Gianna Bandini and Gabriele Rizza of Anèmic Association.
Typical products of the territory starting with olive oil and wine, will also be the protagonists of the Festival: every evening from 7pm-
10pm local farms (the Fattoria Tancia, Fattoria Spoiano, Fattoria Casa Sola, Fattoria Montecchio) will offer complimentary wine & olive
oil tastings and courses. The Chianti Star Festival is organized by Studio Abba Florence, in collaboration with Giada Rodani and OpenLab,
Communications Area of the University of Florence and the Municipality of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa. The calendar of events may be subject to
alteration, please consult: www.chiantistarfestival.com
