Both America and France start primary school at a young age, around ages 5-2, and have similar structures for secondary education with a winter and summer break. They offer comparable core subjects and have public school systems paid for by the government. While college is more expensive in America, both countries provide higher education options after secondary school, whether it be universities, technical schools, or job training programs.
