- 2. FEMALE PROTAGONIST To the right is actress Isabel Lucas. I wanted to help the audience imagine the main characters images in celebrity form before I chose who I want to play the three main roles, due to the fact it’ll help them imagine what the movie is going to be panned out like. I chose Isabel Lucas due to the fact she is not only stunning, but blonde too. I want a blonde main female protagonist, due to the fact blondes feature oftenly in romance movies, or in sub-genre’s under the genre romance, for example Chick Flick’s and RomCom’s (romantic comedies). Isabel Lucas also features in the movie ‘Careful What You Wish For’, alongside Nick Jonas, who I am planning on adding as the female protagonist’s best friend.

I have chosen Nick Jonas as the example of the boy best friend in ‘Me or Him’ due, again, to the fact he plays alongside Isabel Lucas in ‘Careful What You Wish For’ (2015). Nick is massively swooned over by the female population world wide, therefore, I am simply showing that I am going to have a good looking male playing the male protagonist in my movie.#

THE BOYFRIEND I have chosen Chace Crawford (or Nate out of Gossip Girl) as the male character that plays the boyfriend in the movie due to the fact he is an extremely popular male Hollywood actor, who attracts a lot of female attention to himself. I wanted the boy best friend to have a bit of competition; the boy friend has to be extremely attractive in order to make the male best friend jealous. I also believe that Chace Crawford and Isabel Lucas are a good match; both extremely good looking, and the stereotypically good looking male and female.
