Human resource means natural quality endowed by God
and qualifications acquired by man through education
and training.
“Human resources is a whole consisting of
interrelated, interdependent and intereacting
physiological, sociological and ethical components”.

HRM is the Planning,Organising,Directing and
Controlling of procurement,development, maintenance
and integration of human resources for the achievement
of individual organisational and social objective are
accomplished.
HRM is consult with man at work and with their group
relationship, with a view to achieve the objectives of the
organisation through the man power.

Human resource development means promotion and
development of job knowledge, experience, different
types of skills, creativity and intelligence through
education, training and executive development
programmes for the efficient achievement of
organisation objectives and satisfaction of personal
needs of self development.

According to the American society for the
personnel administration – personnel management
means an art of acquiring, developing and
maintaining a properly qualified workforce for the
efficient and effective performance and achievement
of organisation functions and objectives.
