The work of the Shift Project focuses on the link between energy consumption and the GDP growth. The econometrical research confirms the standpoint defended by ecological economists and introducing primary energy as a key factor that drives GDP growth. The results show that an increase of 10% of energy use per capita induces, on average, an increase (resp. decrease) of about 6 to 7% of GDP per capita. The research also concludes that the causality relation goes from the consumption of energy to growth in both the short and long-run.
These findings sharply contrast with the custom, popular in macroeconomics, that consists in calibrating the output elasticity of energy according to the cost share of energy. In most countries, this practice leads to the postulate that energy elasticity should be close to 0.08% on average.

Final photos
This photo series by Shola Welch documents her final photos for a project. The photos show modifications she made to existing photos to emulate pop art styles. One photo of wall art was split into four sections and colored to look like an Andy Warhol canvas. Another photo of boots and a Chanel sign added a grunge effect. A third photo layered a friend blowing bubbles over text saying "Wonderland" to reference childhood memories. Final photos
This photo depicts Amy wearing a faux fur coat and Starbucks top, about to push her hair behind her ear. The photographer wanted to recreate a style like Rachel Joseph's photo of Helen Flanagan in a fur coat with red lipstick. The photographer used red and green colors which clash to make the photo brighter. Taking the photo freehand allowed getting the desired angle. The fur coat textures and Amy's hair make the photo look soft, while the coat lines frame the Starbucks logo and red lips as the main focuses. The photo reminds the photographer of special winter memories with Amy and Sharna at Starbucks.

Experiments Evidence Template
For this experiment, the photographer took photos with different levels of focus to see how it affected the images. Very low focus caused images to be distorted and unrecognizable, while higher focus allowed for more detail. Examples showed how focus decreased with distance from the camera.

- 5. Scale This is an example of scale because the trees that are in front are closer and the trees that are in back is further.
- 6. Linear Perspective This photo is an example of linear perspective because the way the lines on the pool come up to one point.
- 7. Lighting This picture is an example of lighting because the highlighted part of the photograph becomes the focal point.
