This document summarizes new features in Cisco UCS Software Release 1.4, including: 1) Support for the UCS B230 M1 blade server with high density computing. 2) Integration of Cisco UCS C-Series rack servers for unified management across the UCS portfolio. 3) New chassis and multi-chassis power capping capabilities to optimize power allocation. 4) Software bundling changes to allow quicker adoption of new server and adapter types. 5) Active Directory group integration for unified user privilege control and authentication scheme support.
