Project Description: Goal of this project is to generate a golden copy of all the securities and their
optimum pricing traded in securities exchanges scattered all over. Security Master Central (SMC) is
a central product, pricing and research database service group. Some of the primary support functions
provided are:
o Maintain infrastructure for managing security indicative, pricing, and historical market data
information for global use within Citi Group.
o Create and develop middleware APIs, Web tools, and other application interfaces that provide
data access to both Street and Citi internal financial instrument information.
o Develop and maintain data entry and maintenance applications to facilitate operational support
around vendor data
o Maintain a centralized reconciliation and reporting framework that highlights current data
discrepancies between front office trading systems and vendor information.
