Parents with histories of food insecurity were interviewed to understand how past experiences influence current child feeding practices. Interviews were conducted with low-income parents in two counties and examined for themes around goals, challenges and influences on choices. Analysis identified ways that food insecurity experiences impact the use of recommended practices to prevent childhood obesity.
