Venture capital is important for startups seeking funding but it comes with tradeoffs. It's best to build a product customers want with a small team first before seeking large investments. Focus on traction, acknowledge weaknesses, and talk to many investors as they are also human. Understand your business even if you "fuck the business plan". Success comes from perseverance through many failures as Thomas Edison said.
