Reena Alva conducted research on parental views of physical training institutes for kids in Kandivali and Andheri, Mumbai. She collected data through structured questionnaires from 50 parents and received responses via telephone, email, and in-person interviews. The findings showed that most parents preferred outdoor sports like football, cricket, and swimming for younger kids and gave free choice of one sport for older kids. Some also chose disciplined sports like yoga, karate, and performing arts like dancing and musical instruments.
