10. Management support (lack thereof)
System performance - slowness
Regional considerations
– Need to create Calendar based roles
Local laws – sensitive data
Non-Cooperative internal deployment leads – it doesn’t work
Data quality
Budget – NEVER ANY MONEY!
Issues
What went wrong?

12. Don’t want RMs to hard book their resources only PMOs
To requisition or not to requisition
Roles – let’s add more
– Turned into a success; 30 roles only!!
Skills & Primary application
Let’s use spreadsheets
FTE Out of box conversion
Issues
Regional way of doing things

14. Management support (renewed sense of direction/urgency)
System performance – CA releases and Internal resource
expertise
Big picture – Global resource pool
Local laws – security
Extra attention needed for Deployment leads
Data quality – views
Training – recordings, Clarity SME, Ask the expert

Editor's Notes 13 years PM experience
8 years Clarity experience; Managed implementations, TTT; admins/RMs/PMs/Users, IT RP Manager, Consultant for the past 5 years
Heavy concentration on RM and Reporting RM Process; if I asked everyone here to define what RM Process means to them and/or to their organization, I’d probably get 50 different responses
Customizable; based on need, training budgets, getting SMEs involved, templates to determine scope
How many people have started and stopped an RM deployment?
Integration with LDAP
Concept of using a global resource pool OBS changes/restructures (release process )
Information collection ( sizing scope) security needed to be evaluated for using Resource Planning, as there was an impact to the system response times
centralized roles based on the standard calendar and how they interact with supply side calendars Performance issues (fix provided in the September release) Everything is a showstopper!
the organization was directed to a consolidated role list (30 roles). Many companies struggle with this. 30 roles is impressive. QSO roles – how they use these to manage / report on data.
