Caught In A Bad Life Housewives: Carly Breakstone, Amanda Braunstein, Jordi Schmidt, Arielle Metaxas and Alie Cresciullo We want to be equal To all of the men, we Want to live somewhere And not on cement.
News reporter: I hear you are a slave in Victorian London, is that right? Woman slave 1: Yes that’s right, we need your help! We have been forced to work for years now. News reporter: What do your owners make you do? Women slave 1: take care of the children, clean the house, Cook, and we don’t get paid one bit. News reporter: how do you feel when you get forced to do things? Women slave 1: I feel like nobody respects me and that I am treated like property, not a person. News reporter: do you feel that you deserve more rights? Women slave: Yes. Not necessarily more rights than men, but equal rights. What makes men think that we don’t deserve as much rights? News reporter: you know men. They think they are the best. But you show Them right and show them who's boss.
VICTORIAN WOMEN WANT THE SAME RIGHTS AS MEN! HELP us! We need rights! Our husbands are controlling. All we do all day is household work and take care of the children. We never get paid or have a good life. We deserve equal rights to the men we can do anything they can do. We want to work. Although our children are delightful, why are men more important than us? We can be just as strong, as smart, and as helpful. It isn’t right to make women do all the work. We are people, not property. The government doesn’t understand that. Women have been considered a lower class than men from the beginning. We are tired of being the underdogs. We have lived like this for years, not it’s time to show what we’re made of. Many if not all job offerings only allow men to apply. Women are just as capable of working. People assume that we aren’t as good as men. Well that’s just not right because we may be better then men! Give us a chance. Watch out, London, because if this doesn’t end soon the economy will fail.
