Dear Hiring Managers,
It is my pleasure to write a personal letter of reference on behalf of Chris Anderson. We attended high
school and college together, and can identify and measure elements of worker engagement most tied to
success---personal, character, productivity and loyalty. Chris was raised in Colorado and continues to have a
strong sense of belonging to his hometown community. He is a dedicated family man who values the sanctity
of marriage and perseveres in demonstrating traits of a good parent. As a degreed professional, he seeks
continuous education to gain necessary skills to administer and deliver a wide range of programs.
Recently, Chris and I had a chance to discuss his practical work experience. He spoke of his leadership
with the City of Aurora, facilitation of mentorship seminars for at-risk families and safety awareness
coaching/outreach for women. He spoke about stewardship to Search and Rescue teams associated with
Hurricane Katrina and 9/11 tragedies. These career moments exemplify a personal mission, devotion to
organizational core values, and a firm foundation upon which future success can be assessed. Chris is
stimulated by a commitment to excellence, and a compassionate focus on the safety and wellbeing of others.
Most impressive, however, is a book Chris has created that comprises professional certifications,
correspondence of commendation and reference letters written by teachers, neighbors, superiors, business
acquaintances, clients, and vendors who can attest to his skills and abilities. This conveys diligence to
integrity and doing quality work, value to understanding his progress, and reverence to the opportunities to
learn and grow. And, thus it shows a strong correlation to superior job performance.
Sincerely,
Catherine German Bayens
