Editor's Notes
I would describe myself as persistent because when I start something, I don’t want to stop until I’m ready to stop. I’m also very stubborn and like to do things my way.
My answer to that was yes, but it’s going to be hard because I like to do things my way, and I can be stubborn when it comes to working in groups.I learned that I need to listen to peoples input because sometimes it may be better than my own.
The project gave me a huge reality check, I learned that I couldn’t get my dream house and dream car on the salary I make, and I also realized that I couldn’t be at the top of my career right away and that it takes time to be at the top.
They now think that the Central Middle School students are more responsible because we can use our cell phones responsibly. At first people didn’t think we were serious about wanting to use our phones in school, but after exhibition night and the campaigns they saw that we really did want this.
I used common sense to make sure that the facts on the sites were reasonable, I made sure that the date wasn’t too fat back because I didn’t know how accurate information would be now if it was writing 20 years ago.
With the game board project we made the questions using math and science. We had to learn about equations for the math problems, and to wire the game board we had to learn about circuits.
When I worked in groups for projects I kind of only wanted things to go my way, but I realized that my other peoples’ ideas are just as good as mine.
A good thing about a persistent learner is I usually finish what I start. I also can be bossy at times, I try not to be, but if I don’t like something I will say so and/or change it.
