At the core, Fashion Stork is a monthly fashion
subscription box for men. During the account
registration process, each member takes a
comprehensive quiz that clues Fashion Stork in on
their personal style. Using the answers provided, all
members are categorized into one of six style types.
Each month, members are mailed two essential
pieces and up to two matching accessories that fit
their style.
Emmanuel knew that men love looking good, they
just don’t always know how to shop. Fashion Stork
takes the guesswork and stress out of dressing well.
Why PrestaShop
The number-one criteria for Fashion Stork in choosing
a platform was that it had to be open source. An open
source software gives you access to the source code,
but also to the community that supports it. A slightly
smaller number of developers work with PrestaShop
than certain larger competitors, but PrestaShop’s
active community swayed Fashion Stork’s decision to
use the platform.

Scalability was another factor in selecting a shopping
cart software. As the business grows, the software
needs to be able to adapt to growing levels of
incoming traffic and accommodate all the new users.
PrestaShop’s fee-free model is the most powerful
lever of scalability, as it allows every dollar made to be
invested back into the business, instead of spent on
monthly fees.
PrestaShop Experience
Fashion Stork launched on the PrestaShop platform
and was hooked ever since. Even as they upgrade the
website, they continue to use PrestaShop because
of the community support. Community members
on the forum provide quick answers to questions
including those about design customization. For
more complex questions, one-to-one technical
support is only a phone call away. Getting answers
is always simple, which is crucial when tailoring
software to fit your business.
Since their launch, Fashion Stork has:
—  launched an accessories subscription box.
—  shipped over 36,000 boxes.
—  hired 14 employees (including 5 stylists).
—  upgraded to a mobile-responsive design.
— gotten on track to achieve 25% year-on-year growth.

During the account registration process, each member takes a comprehensive quiz that clues Fashion Stork in on their personal style. Using the answers provided, all members are categorized into one of six style types. Each month, members are mailed two essential pieces and up to two matching accessories that fit their style. A slightly smaller number of developers work with PrestaShop than certain larger competitors, but PrestaShop’s active community swayed Fashion Stork’s decision to use the platform.
