2. Trumpet

A Drum Beat

3. I added only two main
instruments. These were
the trumpet and the steel
pans, both of which are
stereotypically Caribbean.
I also have a looping
drum beat through out the
whole piece.

4. Panning is where the song transfers from one ear to another. I decided not to
use this due to the song being played mainly played through speakers rather
than headphones. Therefore it wouldn’t sound as quality with panning.

5. * Velocities is based on how hard the note is eg. how hard a piano note is
pressed also some percussion has this featured added on.
* I decided not to add this due to most instruments I used didn’t have this
feature there fore was deemed difficult and useless. I

6. I considered using EQ but I decided against it due to the fact I like the sound
of my piece without the addition of EQ. I could change the bass and treble but
I didn’t decide to add it.

7. * I mixed my piece slightly in the way I altered the volume on some of the
instruments. Other than that I added no extra forms of mixing.
