To obtain the Career Academy certificate and to be
eligible for co-op opportunities, a student must first
complete the following:
£ Step 1: Career Planning appointment with
Career Services
£ Step 2: Registration with Wisconsin TechConnect.com
£ Step 3: Resume review(s) with NWTC
Career Services
£ Step 4: A 2-hour Workplace Success Session
£ Step 5: Practice Employer Interview
(with NWTC Career Services)
Students in a manufacturing or
engineering related program
participating in Career Academy,
have the ability to:

Participation Requirements

• Signed Employer Agreement Form
• Job description/requirements
• Employer policies and expectations
• First round student interview held at NWTC
