Pitch Example One
• Hi, I’m Jim Jones. I am a junior at St. Edward’s
University majoring in communications. I did a
social media internship last summer in Chicago
that really piqued my interest in public relations. I
would be interested in finding out more about a
customer service position with your company to
build my skills and experience.
Pitch Example Two:
• I’m Jane Smith. I'm a senior here at St. Edward’s
University majoring in Psychology. I have some
leadership knowledge working on campus
committees. I have knowledge of event
production including promotions and recruiting
volunteers for sporting events. I am particularly
interested in human resources and event
management and would like to explore those
areas.
