Carbon is telling the story of its life. It was born to parents Noa and Sophie and its personality depends on its form - it can be black or transparent as graphite or diamond. Currently, carbon is found all over the world in things like the sun, stars, comets and atmosphere. When it grows up, it hopes to be diamonds in South Africa, charcoal or graphite in pencils, or fuel for cars in the form of biofuel made from organic materials so it doesn't harm the environment like its parents taught it.

7. When I Grow Up…
Right now, I’m found everywhere in the world,
from the sun, the stars, the comets, and most of
the atmosphere. When I grow up, though, I might
want to be a diamonds growing in the caves of
South Africa, charcoal, or graphite in kid’s
pencils at school, or maybe amorphous glass. I
could also be fuel for all the cars of the world.
Cars will fill up with me and drive further than
they’ve ever driven before! Of course, I will be
bio fuel, made of organic materials so that I won’t
harm the environment, like my amazing parents
Noa and Sophie told me not to!
