Captain Glen S. Leverette is the Deputy Commander of U.S. Naval Forces and U.S. Navy Region Korea. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and U.S. Naval War College, earning master's degrees in political science and national security. Captain Leverette has served in various command and staff roles, including Commander of Logistics Force for U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and Task Force 53, with experience on multiple aircraft carriers and destroyers. As the first commanding officer of Riverine Squadron 2, he reestablished the Navy's riverine combat capability and led over 600 combat missions in Iraq.
