Capstone Project
I don’t have a supervisor for this project. I went off the option that you gave us for showing what we
learned from our degree. I have enclosed the spreadsheet for the project as a whole including; name of
task, assignment date, task id, due date, completion date, projected hours, actual hours, total projected
hours, and total actual hours. I am also sending the attachment for this excel workbook just in case you
aren’t able to read it here. The purpose of my project was to show what I learned from experience at
Lake Superior College. My projects were based on upgrading computer hardware, installing software,
and trying out remote connectivity while at home and away. I didn’t really have a specific user to give
documentation to. I used a lot of different avenues to get this project done. I completed all of the tasks
that I had planned to do. I learned how to use project management software, and how estimating times
can differ from actual times. The thing that took the longest was the SQL install on both computers.
The downloading and upgrading took the longest due to the slow internet connection. I learned a lot
from this project. I wish that the instructor would’ve been more specific on the project management
software that needed to be used. I sent in the screenshots of the software that I used and was told that
the hours couldn’t be made out. Hopefully these spreadsheets work for the required information for
