Donation Request Letters and Emails:
For the past 11 years Columbia Pacific Food Bank has been
serving all of Columbia County including distributing food to
24 independent hunger relief agencies and programs.
Last year alone we managed to distribute 800,000lbs of
food and household items with only 2.5 employees
and a handful of dedicated volunteers.
Columbia Pacific Food Bank is a non-profit organization
that relies on donations and fundraisers to be able to
fulfill the needs of the people of Columbia County. In fact for
every $1 donated 5lbs of food is distributed throughout the
community.

Editor's Notes
This was at a time that I was very uncertain about my decision to become a teacher. This was one of the first times I made meaningful connections with many young children. I would plan a weeks worth of camp for an age group that I was assigned that week.
