Ice hockey is Canada's national winter sport, with legendary player Wayne Gretzky being considered the greatest of all time. Terry Fox is a famous Canadian who attempted to run across Canada with one leg to raise money for cancer research after losing his leg to cancer, but unfortunately passed away during his "Marathon of Hope" before completing his journey.
