Solution a=.06 on a two tailed test means there is .03 in the right hand tail and .03 in the left hand tail. If you go to a z table and look up .03 you will find if corresponds to a z score of -1.88. That is for the left hand tail. Since the normal curve is symmetrical .03 in the right hand tail corresponds to a z score of 1.88. So we have -1.88, 1.88..

Solution
