2. Dependent Variable: The Abortion Rate
With the emergence of new technologies,
medicines and more liberal legislation; abortion
rates, or the number of induced abortions per
1000 pregnancies has increased throughout the
United States.
8. In summary…
Upon conducting this research, it was discovered that
the graduation and abortion rate are closely correlated.
The data shows that as the graduation rate rises, the
abortion rate falls. Hence, if a state were to have more
graduates, it would have less terminated pregnancies.
Although the population density and the abortion rate
do not have a negative correlation, the data is still
statistically significant. As the population density
increases, so does the abortion rate. Therefore, people
who live in areas with a high population in a smaller
space are more likely to have an abortion.
