5. Introduction Today we will discuss the School, Technology, and Readiness Chart (STaR Chart) results for Anderson Elementary School. The STaR Chart is a tool designed or use in technology planning, budgeting for resources, and evaluation of progress in local technology reports.
6. Key Areas The STaR Chart survey evaluates four areas on a campus: Teaching and Learning Educator Preparation and Development Leadership, Administration, Instructional Support Infrastructure for Technology
7. Key Area Classifications The Key Area Classifications are as follows: Early Tech Developing Tech Advanced Tech Target Tech Early Tech is the lowest classification and Target Tech is the highest classification.

10. Conclusion The results of the STaR Chart Survey for Anderson Elementary reveals that Anderson has all Advanced Tech classification in all areas for 2009. This indicates that Anderson is on the right track and has shown improvement in most categories. The only area that has suffered a setback and has not shown improvement is the Leadership, Admin area. I recommend that Anderson concentrate resources to improve this area and ultimately reach Target Tech classification for all areas.
