My Root: Who am I and why do I love entertainment?
- grew up in Illinois sharing live entertainment with my family… concerts, festivals, theater and sports
After high school, I enrolled in Illinois Valley Community College…maintained many extracurricular activities
Found a love for marketing and business through student government and theater production.
My Root:
Thru IVCC I was able to take an internship with Disney and move to Florida to begin working with live entertainment in theme parks
began building my network, learning from show director, stage managers and promoters as I performed.
Met many interesting people and learned from them the different types of entertainment, and the different networks I needed to be part of to make a successful living as an actor.

I had the opportunity to perform around the world with Feld Entertainment and experience working for a live entertainment company operating world wide.
As a performer I participated in PR photo shoots, interviews, and meet and greets for press and fans. Took an interest in the job of our promoters and shadowed them on several events learning the value of PR on an international tour.

Full Sail will also teach me valuable communication, presentation, and computer skills that will be necessary for my success as I serve my client.

Work Experience: Taking a break from performing to prepare myself for a behind the scenes career, I’ve gained experience leading teams of 4 to 10 trainees thru a training program, then leading them to individual success through coaching and goal setting. I have also gained experience in sales and have proven expertise in the field by consistently being named among the top employees in my position.

C. Skills and Attributes: Over my years in the work force I have honed valuable skills in customers service and problem solving by having to think on my feet and be ready for the uncertainties that come along with live entertainment. Also, through interactions with customers from around the globe and I always make sure that I am delivering the highest quality experience possible to each unique customer.
At Full Sail I’m rounding out my knowledge with skills like accounting and budgeting with QuickBooks, appropriate construction of an online Digital Marketing Strategy, and increased knowledge of the Microsoft office suite. The class work and discussions also help me to hone my spoken and written communication skills.
My strongest attribute is my ambition and the untiring work ethic that goes along with it. When I set my mind to a task I will not stop until it’s complete.
D. Strategies for Self Growth: While completing my degree program at Full Sail, I am using my network to find opportunities that will gain me hands on experience in my field. Reaching out to the contacts I already have can open up doors to new experiences and a much more complete working knowledge of the business. In this I must also always remain the student. You never stop learning and I feel that there is always room for improvement.

I can use all my knowledge and experience to help you expand that audience and continue sharing your talents with a bigger fan base.
What do I do as a Professional?
So, How have I gain all this experience and made my living over the last decade?
I have been employed my both Walt Disney World Resort, and Universal Orlando Resort, as a show host and attractions driver, and Character Puppeteer and Dancer/Actor respectively.
I fueled my passion for promotions while working for Feld Entertainment on Disney Live, where I performed as a Full Body Puppeteer and Clown.
In addition to all the Dancing and Performing I also worked as a promotional model, Brand Ambassador, and film extra. Doing this I learned better communication skills and the importance of understanding your customer. In this role not only was I a spokesperson for my client, but also a salesperson for their product.
Work Experience:
Working for David’s Bridal I honed my skills in sales while expressing myself creatively through bridal fashion. This lead to opportunities styling models for fashion shows held at the bridal Expos, which taught me visual merchandising and showed me how to always show a brands best face. I have also made connections by working for David’s Bridal that have me now assistant coordinating bridal fashion shows for The Central Florida Bridal Association and My Wedding TV.
Along with Guest service, problem solving and show quality skills that I have learned from years working in two of the world largest theme parks, I also spent a year working in direct marketing as a team lead, trainer and motivator for a team of 4 to 10 employees. This allowed me to learn to take on more responsibility and lead a team to individual and collective goals.
Volunteer Experience:
I am currently a volunteer for The Help and Hope Center of Central Florida, an organization dedicated to spreading a message of tolerance and education for the HIV and AIDS viruses.
Classroom Project Experience:
During my Full Sail Course work I began administrating the official Facebook page of American Professional Wrestler, Leva Bates. Together She and I have created an online marketing strategy for her brand and she has been gaining success from our collaborative content creation.
The Official Facebook page of Leva Bates has now reach over ten thousand likes, from just under seven thousand when I took over administrating responsibilities six weeks ago. Leva is now touring the UK and tweeting to her fans while she wrestles there for the first time.
Stand Out Moments:
While performing at Universal I held the number 1 rank in all of my roles and was nominated for the award of Best Animated Performer by my peers.
As a Bridal Stylist I have been in the David’s Bridal Circle of Excellence for two and a half years. This achievement is given to stylists with exemplary sales and customer satisfaction, and I have consistently ranked in the companies top 100.
I work best in creative collaboration with my clients, or on a team where I can add my strengths to achieve the best results.
Communication is key, and when working on a team or individually with a client, feedback should be given and an open line of communication must remain open.
I enjoy being around colleagues and clients that are as serious as I am about quality results, and passionate enough about their role to have fun doing it. I also like working with other that have a strong work ethic and a compassionate heart. For clients and colleagues alike, it is a must.
To me Success means being completely satisfied that I did the best job I could possibly do to accomplish the best result for the client. It means sharing creative ideas with the client to get their voice to the target market, so the media and fans view them positively and give their support.
