2. Ifwe knew all about God and who He is,
there wouldn’t be anything to hope and have
faith in. We need the mystery of God so that
through the course of our lives we can find
out for ourselves who God is.
You don’t need to know everything! God
wanted to keep himself a mystery for a
purpose! If we were meant to know, we
would know!
3. When you first start to play softball, you
don’t know anything about it, except maybe
a few things that you have picked up along
the way from others. Every practice you
learn something new, eventually learning the
game, but you can never stop improving. The
same thing is true with your faith. You can
come to know God through scripture and
through other people’s actions, but never to
the full extent.
5. This
whole chapter talks about our faith in
God. When we say that we believe in God,
we are telling others that we believe in
something that is not visible to us. How do
we know that God is real then?
6. In softball, the coach teaches you all he/she
knows; it’s up to you to listen. If you do
listen, you will play well in the game, if you
don’t, you won’t improve. The same is with
God, He won’t live your live for you, He’ll
only give you the steps to improve yourself,
just as a coach won’t play the game for you.

This clip shows that even though God and
others may teach you right from wrong, it is
ultimately up to you. Make the right
decision! :)
