The document is an invitation to come with a summer beach outfit to 305 17th Ave. S. in Seattle, WA on June 3, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. It suggests bringing beach attire for an event or outing near or at the beach.
Our consulting story focuses on helping organizations improve their people recruitment processes to ensure they hire the best candidates. People are key to driving business success but most organizations are only 25% accurate in recruitment and spend billions annually on poor performers. The solution is to apply business psychology tools to help define what success looks like for each role, increase recruitment accuracy to over 75%, and teach clients to independently manage the new processes. This includes implementing tools like psychometrics and behavioral interviews during recruitment to better assess fit and potential.
The document promotes a real estate investment education program called Nouveau Riche that aims to create millionaires quickly. It outlines the four components of the program: 1) home study courses and live classes, 2) an online marketplace to purchase properties, 3) opportunities to earn commissions, and 4) a community of like-minded investors. It emphasizes the program's mission to generate wealth through real estate investing and provides details on course offerings, property examples, and business services available to members.
The document outlines the key elements of effective learning: objectives, assessment, practice, corrective feedback, demonstration, information, overview, and motivation support. Learning objectives should be concrete, current, challenging, and clear. Assessments should be tightly coupled to objectives and clearly linked. Practice includes guided and solo practice with real-time corrective feedback. Demonstrations should be well-constructed. Information provides an initial overview to encourage motivation, and motivation support is needed throughout the learning activity.
The document summarizes the effects of different audio manipulation tools. It describes how the Voxengo Boogex effect made the audio extremely loud and echoey, similar to a jet plane. It also discusses how the Battery Acid effect distorted the sound like a breaking up radio channel, but the words could still be understood clearly. Both effects allowed customization through controls to create unique sounds, and dramatically changed the audio from the original while still keeping the words clear.
Isaac E. Chao received a B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from Rutgers University in 2006. He has work experience in undergraduate research at Rutgers University and the University of South Carolina, as well as a position as a laboratory technician at OFS Optics. His skills include materials processing, characterization techniques, design software, and laboratory equipment operation.

This recording used the Refir app to distort the sound of a woman's voice, making it robotic and difficult to understand as her pitch was lowered. The user moved pointers around to change the pitch of her voice and moved them from side to side to create a robotic effect.
Fast food can be appealing and inexpensive, especially for teenagers. However, famous chef Jamie Oliver won a lawsuit against McDonald's by providing proof that some of their foods are not edible. While some people enjoy fast food from places like KFC and McDonald's, after learning about Jamie Oliver's lawsuit and how the food is prepared, the document suggests they may not want to eat at McDonald's in the future.

HCL Notes and Domino License Cost Reduction in the World of DLAUpanagenda
Webinar Recording: https://www.panagenda.com/webinars/hcl-notes-and-domino-license-cost-reduction-in-the-world-of-dlau/
The introduction of DLAU and the CCB & CCX licensing model caused quite a stir in the HCL community. As a Notes and Domino customer, you may have faced challenges with unexpected user counts and license costs. You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible. Don’t worry, we can help with all of this!
We’ll show you how to fix common misconfigurations that cause higher-than-expected user counts, and how to identify accounts which you can deactivate to save money. There are also frequent patterns that can cause unnecessary cost, like using a person document instead of a mail-in for shared mailboxes. We’ll provide examples and solutions for those as well. And naturally we’ll explain the new licensing model.
Join HCL Ambassador Marc Thomas in this webinar with a special guest appearance from Franz Walder. It will give you the tools and know-how to stay on top of what is going on with Domino licensing. You will be able lower your cost through an optimized configuration and keep it low going forward.
These topics will be covered
- Reducing license cost by finding and fixing misconfigurations and superfluous accounts
- How do CCB and CCX licenses really work?
- Understanding the DLAU tool and how to best utilize it
- Tips for common problem areas, like team mailboxes, functional/test users, etc
- Practical examples and best practices to implement right away
Observability Concepts EVERY Developer Should Know -- DeveloperWeek Europe.pdfPaige Cruz
Monitoring and observability aren’t traditionally found in software curriculums and many of us cobble this knowledge together from whatever vendor or ecosystem we were first introduced to and whatever is a part of your current company’s observability stack.
While the dev and ops silo continues to crumble….many organizations still relegate monitoring & observability as the purview of ops, infra and SRE teams. This is a mistake - achieving a highly observable system requires collaboration up and down the stack.
I, a former op, would like to extend an invitation to all application developers to join the observability party will share these foundational concepts to build on:
Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Climate Impact of Software Testing at Nordic Testing DaysKari Kakkonen
My slides at Nordic Testing Days 6.6.2024
Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.
