Camberra is the capital city of Australia located in the southeast between Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. It has an area of 805.6 square kilometers and is in the Brindabella Ranges. The city was originally inhabited by Aboriginal tribes and was first explored in 1820. Camberra has a relatively dry oceanic climate due to its elevation inland from the coast, and it experiences less frequent rain and occasional snow compared to other Australian cities.
