Virtual reality and augmented reality can be used to explore and share tourism locations, hospitality services, and cultural heritage sites. This document announces a special session on VR and AR applications for tourism, hospitality, and cultural heritage at the ICCMIT 2018 conference in Madrid, Spain from April 2-4, 2018. Papers submitted will be published in indexed journals and present how VR and AR are being used to construct virtual museum exhibits, capture artifacts, and bring digital enrichment to real-world environments in these sectors. Topics of interest include VR/AR applications and technologies, their implications, and their use with AI and IoT for hospitality, tourism and cultural heritage.
