God created the world over six days according to the passage. On each day God added something new: light, sky and water, land and plants, sun and moon, sea creatures and birds, land animals and humans. The passage then discusses the author's place in creation, what they care about in creation and how they help care for people and the environment. It concludes with a prayer thanking God for creating the world.
