CAFS teaches students about relationships within families and communities, and how to manage resources. It covers topics like counseling, social work, teaching and nursing. Students learn research skills and how to make informed decisions. As part of the course, students have taken field trips to daycare centers and participate in simulations that give them experience parenting.
