CABAY NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
Cabay, Tiaong, Quezon
It has been proven that the use of ICT in the classroom increases
the motivation of the students, showing more interest and becoming more
involved in the areas they study. The use of ICT in the classroom promotes
the student’s active and participatory attitude. ICT enables the use of
innovative educational resources and the renewal of learning methods,
setting up a more active collaboration of students and the simultaneous
acquisition of technological knowledge. That is why Cabay National High
School seek ways on how we can enhance our ICT skills during this time of
the Covid-19 Pandemic. Using digital environments allow real-time
updating of all information and resources. Below are ICT activities that
Cabay NHS has done for SY 2021-2022.

Accomplished the E-BEIS for the SY 2021-2022
Keeps progress record, accesses the learners rate of performance and produces reports for
teachers, learners and students.
Crafted reading materials both for English and Filipino. These are localized and contextualized adopted from SDO –
QUEZON Reading Journal under QUELTA. The material has been used by our Grade 7 students.
Through ICT, teachers enhanced their skills in making Self-made video lessons used as a
supplemental learning materials for Project SSS for Learning.
Most of the online and offline platforms that Cabay NHS commonly used for communication
and coordination purposes among the learners, parents/ guardians and teachers.
Ensured the effective used of E-Classroom and ICT Lab; monitored the use of E-Classroom
as well as other ICT devices (laptops, projectors, etc.); and reporting problems or concerns
about ICT packages in schools to the supplier and Division Information Technology Officer
Provided technical assistance to the school head, class advisers, co-teachers, and learners/students with regards
to different ICT teaching and learning methods, school operations and professional development
Technical Working Assistance on PTA Orientation, Brigada Eskwela Coordinators
Meeting, SLAC, INSET & COT for Teachers.
Conducted Training-Workshop on Basic Computer Education to learn ICT skills and develop ICT
capability and ICT literacy for students and school personnel.
