Day 1 Wednesday 17 June
Arrive and settle into our accommodation at Ayers Rock Campground at Yulara.
1.30: Lunch if required.
2.30: Open our healing circle. Meditation.
3.30: Free time – explore Yulara or rest at the accommodation.
5.30: Go to sunset viewing area.
7.00: Dinner.
8.00: Evening activity.

Day 2 Thursday 18 June
6.30: Go to sunrise viewing area.
8.00: Breakfast.
9.30: Leave for a day out exploring Uluru (Ayers Rock).*
1.30: Lunch.
2.30: Maruku Arts.
5.30: Go to sunset viewing area.
7.00: Dinner.
8.00: Evening activity.
*The walk around the base of Uluru takes about 5-6 hours. It’s recommended that only people in a
reasonable state of fitness do this walk. Otherwise we will visit different sites around Uluru (by bus).

Day 3 Friday 19 June
6.30: Go to sunrise viewing area.
8.00: Breakfast.
9.30: Leave for a day out exploring Kata Tjuta (the Olgas).**
1.30: Lunch.
5.30: Go to sunset viewing area.
7.00: Dinner.
8.00: Evening activity.
**The walk through Kata Tjuta takes about 4-5 hours. It’s recommended that only people in a
reasonable state of fitness do this walk. Otherwise we will take short walks to points of interest.

Day 4 Saturday 20 June
6.30: Go to sunrise viewing area.
8.00: Breakfast.
9.30: Drive to Kings Canyon Resort in the Watarrka National Park.
1.00: Lunch at Kathleen Springs.
2.00: Walk into the Springs. (45 minutes each way - flat even walk, no steps).
5.00: Arrive at Kings Canyon – settle into accommodation.
5.30: Watch the sunset over Carmichael Crag.
6.30: Dinner.

Day 5 Sunday 21 June
7.00: Go to sunrise viewing area.
8.00: Breakfast.
9.30: Spend the day at an Aboriginal Homeland - Lilla Community.
10.00: Smoking Ceremony and guided tour of the sacred sites at Lilla.
1.30: Lunch.
2.30: Dot Painting with the women.
5.30: Watch the sunset over Carmichael Crag.
6.30: Dinner.
8.00: Evening activity – Solstice celebration.

Day 6 Monday 22 June
7.00: Go to sunrise viewing area.
8.00: Breakfast.
9.30: Lower Canyon walk or Upper Canyon walk.***
1.30: Lunch.
2.30: Back to Lilla for a final farewell.
5.30: Watch the sunset over Carmichael Crag.
6.30: Dinner.
***The Upper Canyon walk is quite demanding starting with a steep ascent locally known as Heart
Attack Hill. It takes 3-4 hours. It’s recommended that only people in a reasonable state of fitness do
this walk. The lower canyon walk is much gentler – 30 minutes each way – no climbing involved.

Day 7 Tuesday 23 June
7.00: Go to sunrise viewing area.
8.00: Breakfast.
10.00: Leave for Yulara.
1.30: Lunch.
2.30: Close our healing circle. Meditation.
5.30: Go to sunset viewing area.
7.00: Final dinner together.
8.00: Share stories. Review our journey.
Accommodation: Cabins at Ayers Rock Campground
Day 8 Wednesday 24 June
6.30: Final sunrise.
8.00: Breakfast.
9.30: Leave for Yulara airport.

Meals
All meals are included from lunch on the first day to breakfast on the last day. They will be basic
vegetarian with fish options in some meals.
Activities
If you are so inclined, feel free to bring along arts and crafts material. There will be opportunities
along the way to use them.
What to bring
Sunscreen, mosquito repellant, personal medications, sturdy walking shoes, suitable clothing -
maximum daytime temperatures can vary from low teens to high twenties(Celsius), and below zero
temperatures and frosts are common overnight.
