Begin Press Release:
June 7, 2016- Chicago, IL- “SPEND LESS, DRINK MORE” IS BYE BYE LIVER’S
SUMMER MOTTO
What’s up this summer in Chicago? Taxes and temperatures, for sure. Luckily,
“Bye Bye Liver” has the cure with cold beers and lower prices! We’ve had your back
since 2006, and we’re not stopping now.
From June to August, ticket prices are dropping… so you can spend more at the
bar! Now, row seats are only $15, and table seats cost $20. The new bar is stocked with
delicious, refreshing drinks like Stiegl Radler, Angry Orchard and the best from
Lagunitas and Revolution Brewery (among many, many others). And of course, $14-$16
bucket specials are always available.
To top off the evening, the new cast has all-new sketches and games as a new
assistant director joins Byron Hatfield at the helm. Fresh from her sold-out success with
“Double Text,” writer/director Olivia Bagan is putting her own, fresh twist on the show.
Now, they who enter Frank’s Bar may be enchanted by their Fairy Drunkmother.
They can laugh and sing along to a love story told entirely through Karaoke. And
unforgettable adventure is in store for those brave (or foolish) enough to indulge in a
bottle of Blackout Bourbon.
In between the sketches, audience members can see how well they really know
their city with a game of Neighborhoods. Or how well they really know cinema with a
game of Drunken Movie Trivia. And get to know each other better with some good, old-
fashioned Would You Rather.
Anyone who has enjoyed a night out in Chicago will feel right at home, watching
their friends, partners and even themselves on stage, tumbling through those situations we
find ourselves in when we get tipsy (or don’t drink and get to tell the best stories the next
day). “Bye Bye Liver” runs at 8pm and 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays at The
Public House Theatre in Lakeview. Patrons must be 21+.

ABOUT THE PUBLIC HOUSE THEATRE
The friendliest theatre in Chicago invites you to enjoy a show or two that "puts
the efforts of Saturday Night Live to shame (Chicago SunTimes)," where “The modus
operandi seems to be coming up with the sort of ideas that seem brilliant when you’re
smashed at 2 a.m. and then…actually making them work. (The Examiner)” If you're
thirsty, take advantage of the excellent drink deals at the full bar, especially if you're a
fine whiskey or craft beer lover. With any show on any night of the week, it's "impossible
to not have a good time (TimeOut Chicago)."
