In the recent market, there is a growth in the project management aspects. Many of the company are handling the project on the basis of the tools and the techniques of the project management. Project management is the process through which the company is able to plan the task or the activity involved in a project and can manage the resources required for every task. The time taken by every task or activity is the biggest issue that is managed by the company administration for future benefits. Due to the implementation of the project management concept, the company is able to deliver the product at the right time to the customers. The management of the resources is done in such a way that the company is able to utilize the available resources efficiently and effectively. Every task in the process of production is interconnected to each other. The delay of one activity can hamper the whole process of production. It is the major aim of the project management to provide the special quality of the product to the market at a reasonable price and at correct time. Due to the project management, it becomes easy for the management to prepare the budget of the project before the processing it.

Course Project Scenario
The Course Project Scenario
In this course, you are introduced to a complex project scenario as follows:
You have been assigned to be the project manager for the facility, equipment, and business system upgrade of a call center. This requires:
*moving all existing call center stations to a newer, larger facility;
*installing and testing a high speed, high capacity Wi-Fi network in the new facility;
*upgrading workstations so that they include wireless capability;
*installing a new call center management software; and
*converting a legacy proprietary business system with a CRM application to a new business system.
In this project scenario, time is of the essence. The project sponsor requires that the project take no longer than 6 months to complete. Further, the budget is constrained so that the number of people assigned to the project is very limited and includes the following:
Outside consultants: 2
Project Manager: 1
Business system project lead: 1
Business system implementation team: 3
Wireless system project lead: 1
Wireless system implementation team: 3
Relocation project lead: 1
Relocation team: 2
Workstation project lead: 1
Workstation upgrade team: 2
Outside contractors: Up to five multidisciplinary contractors are allowed in the budget.
Note: The wireless system project lead and the workstation project lead are the same person. Two of the three-member wireless system implementation team overlap with the workstation team. This means that only four resources are available for the wireless system implementation and workstation upgrade (not counting the possible use of contractors). The total resources available to the project include 14 people plus 5 contractors.
In this assignment, you will use this scenario to identify the project requirements, define the project scope using a work breakdown structure (WBS), and define the activities required to produce project deliverables.
Background
MobileGo is a small company that sells prepaid mobile phones in selected markets. Its primary sales and service channel is carried out over the internet and by phone. Sales and service has been supported with a team of 36 customer service representatives in a small building. Customers, accounts, and all business functions have traditionally been managed by a proprietary software application using in-house servers that was contracted out early in the founding of the company. All workstations currently connect to the internet and the internal servers supporting the legacy business system and office applications. This is a problem because the company had to move workstations to different parts of the building as the company has grown (thereby making network wiring out of control). The company has grown 150% over the last 5 years and as a result, the systems, the building, and the overall infrastructure have become outgrown. The company has therefore recognized the need to move to a new locati.

PROJECT OVERVIEW STATEMENT
Project Name
Hardware Deployment for ABC Company
Project No.
Project Manager
Krishna Marepalli
Problem/Opportunity
ABC company has had serious challenges emanating from its hardware system, which has posed major shortfalls in the proper functioning of the company. The software system cannot function well with the current old-hardware in place. The central processing unit, computer data storage, monitor, motherboard, graphic card, keyboard, and sound card are not completely compatible with the current software and therefore the need to deploy a more current hardware. In the past, the ABC company staffs have been raising complains of non-response from the current hardware to the newly innovated software in the market. There has also been a total failure from some other parts like motherboard and keyboard of the computer system. Therefore, deploying a new hardware system in the company would enable solve the challenges ABC staff were undergoing with the old hardware. The company programs and other activities would run very smoothly with the newly deployed hardware in place (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017).
Goal
The main goal of the new hardware deployment is to ensure ABC company and their staffs easily get operations executed with advance technological appliances. All its software and hardware are compatible and easy work.
Objectives
· To deploy the most current hardware system to ABC company
· Ensure compatibility between the current software and the newly deployed hardware.
· To provide all ABC Company staffs access the newly deployed hardware system.
· Improve the overall functionality and efficient program progress of ABC Company by hardware deployment.
· Decommission the already existing hardware system.
Success Criteria
· The new hardware is deployed, and all old hardware decommissioned.
· All ABC staff can efficiently work and increase the productivity of the company.
· The new hardware system becomes very reliable and efficient for use by the ABC Company.
· The efficient flow of work is once again assured by the newly deployed hardware (Kerzner & Kerzner, 2017).
Assumptions/Risks/Obstacles.
· A brief training on ABC staff would be carried out for acquaintance with the newly deployed hardware.
· An assumption is that it would take a little longer time for the new hardware to be fully deployed and the staff to get used to it.
· Absenteeism by any staff during the training on the use of the new hardware would be very risky.
· Availability of knowledgeable staff on matters deployment of new hardware would create a major obstacle during the actual deployment (Burgess, 2018).

Scenario 1 (length as needed)You are considering auctioning a L.docxkenjordan97598
Scenario 1 (length: as needed)
You are considering auctioning a Leonardo Da Vinci original sketch. You entice four bidders to come to your auction. The bidders’ valuations of the sketch in decreasing order are $3.0, $2.2, $2.0, and $1.5 (in millions).
· If you used a second-price sealed bid auction, who would win and what would the winning price be?
· If you used a first-price sealed bid auction and the optimal strategy for the participants was to shade their bid by 20% and the participants used this strategy, who would win and what would the winning price be?
· Which auction should you choose to maximize your profit?
Answer the above questions if the valuations of the sketch are $3.0, $2.7, $2.0 and $1.5.
Scenario 2 (length: 0.5 page)
In the auction described above, suppose that you could entice additional bidders to attend your auction. However, none of the new bidders would have a valuation greater than $3.0 million. Despite that fact, you expect the amount that the winning bidder must pay to increase regardless of the type of auction you use (first- or second-price sealed bid). For each auction, explain why you would expect the auction price to increase. If you want, you may assume the valuations of the original four participants are $3.0, $2.2, $2.0 and $1.5 million.
Scenario 3 (length: 0.5 page)
Some recent Super Bowl advertisements have spent very little time mentioning anything about their product--or even the name of the company. In particular, the two-minute long Ram Trucks "Farmer" commercial had only a few brief and almost unidentifiable views of their product until the last ten seconds of the commercial. Further, the name of the company was only mentioned in the last five seconds of that commercial. Explain why this commercial demonstrated the concept of signaling described in the textbook. In other words, why should consumers be convinced that a Ram truck is of high quality because of the airing of that commercial?
Scenario 4 (length: as needed)
Suppose there are two types of people who need health insurance; high-risk and low-risk consumers. High-risk consumers have a relatively high probability of needing expensive medical care and on average incur $2,000 of medical expenses per year. The high-risk consumers would be willing to pay up to $2,500 for insurance that covers all their medical bills. Low-risk consumers would be willing to pay up to $1,500 for full-coverage insurance and on average would incur on average $1,200 in medical bills. Assume 1/3 of all consumers are high-risk and the remaining 2/3 of consumers are low-risk. Consumers know whether they are high-risk or low-risk. The insurance company knows 2/3 of all consumers are low-risk but cannot identify which consumers are low-risk.
1. If all consumers bought insurance, what price must the insurance company charge to break even in expectation? That is, what price must the insurance company charge so that the expected payments equals the premium?
2. Which consumers w.

Software Implementation Portfolio Project
Abstract/Executive summary:
The purpose of this project is to implement new software into the company to increase productivity. The company uses its current software to create logos, labels, and many other things for large companies. The other goals are to update the protection on the software because in the past there have been a few problems with the security of the software and the information on the software. Another important goal is to have the computers and memory updated to work more efficiently that before. The software has been slow and has not been able to keep up with the new graphics needed for the current projects. The software will crash and then be down for days or longer. This is causing loss of customers and over all bad for the company.
The overall goal for this project is for the new software to be installed, working properly, and producing the power needed to create the projects for the company. I, as the project manager have decided to do agile methodology for the project. There have been multiple projects prior to this one done the same way and it seemed to go well for the company. The project is set to start August eight, so in just a few days and everything is going as planned. The deadline for this project is December twelfth. The project should be about one hundred days long from begging to end. The budget for this project is two hundred fifty thousand dollars and it is being estimated at just over two twenty-four thousand dollars. There is a continuity budget of twenty thousand dollars.
Work Breakdown Structure
Activity/Network Diagram:
Due to space the rest of the Network diagram will be submitted in MS project form. To view critical path, logical relationships, lead/lag, and ES/EF/LS/LF will be easier to view in MS project as well.
Schedule and Budget:
To look at the schedule and budget more in depth and to view the rest of it please view microsoft project.
Change Management Plan:
This project will be an agile project methodology. Since this projec is agile methodology there will be a lot of change and will need to be processes in place to manage the changes. One important tool that will be used to keep up with changes is a change request form. This form will help state what is needed and why and all of the details for the change. Anther important tool is managing the triple constraint of the scope, budget, and quality of the project. When changes come these things will change too. Manging these things can help keep the project from risks and other problems.
The process that will be used for this project is the John Kotters eight-step change process. It consists of eight steps to guide and lead change in a project. The first step is creating urgency. This is basically like triaging the changes by determinng which ones are most important and need to happen sooner than less important ch ...

Course Project
Part 1 – Building Your Project Plan
You and your project team must develop a new project (product or service oriented) for your organization. Company Background
Tell the story (who, what, when, where, how) of the company or organization for which this project is being done.
· Who founded this company? Who are its leaders?
· What does this company make or do? What is its target market? What is its financial performance?
· When was the company founded? Where was/is it located?
· How does the company operate? How effective is the company in its industry? How are its competitors placed in the market?
If using a company website, be sure to cite the source!Current Process
What is the current process or existing scenario for accomplishing the company’s goals? In other words, how does the company conduct business? If, for example, it is a construction business building new homes, what would be the process that encompasses the company’s procedure from advertising through getting customers, doing the project and closing out the project deliverable. This current process might be something like:
1) Receive customer specifications
2) Design preliminary floor plan and elevation
3) Send preliminary documents to customer
4) Receive and execute customer changes
5) Create bid for customer contract
6) Run bid through technical and legal departments
7) Ship bid to customer
8) Follow up with customer
9) Negotiate details of bid acceptance
10) Build the negotiated architectural design
11) Oversee construction budget
12) Deliver agreed upon product to customer
13) Receive payment
14) Close out project using lessons learned approach
Your project must fit within the framework of the company’s business. In other words, if the company builds single family residences, your project would not be for an office building. It must be related to a specific type of single family home/townhouse. Project Overview
The project overview is a report on the project undertaking and a discussion of the general situation management finds itself in. This provides important context for the project management team to use in determining methods, approaches, and timeframes, as well as a scope.
For example, if building a new home, you should state whether it will have one or two stories, three or four bedrooms, and any other rooms that are to be included. There may be important details regarding the lot, area of town, and other issues such as landscaping. Be as detailed as possible, since this will assist the instructor in understanding and ultimately approving your project based on his/her belief that you have a viable project topic for a team of 3-4 persons. Objectives
Objectives describe concrete outcomes that a project will meet so as to be deemed a success. Goals need to be described as specifically as necessary-but no more specifically than that. The purpose is not to artificially constrain the project but to limit the project to as wide a range of acceptable outcomes as ...

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

growth opportunities of the company (Brophy, 2002).
The essential requirement in completing any project is that, the manager must have the capability to
manage all the resources efficiently. So that the project can be started with well furnished ideas and while
implementing all the ideas in the project, resources can be allocated to them according to the requirements.
The manager and the company can put all these ideas at the time when company wishes to expand its
operations in different areas. Before initiating any work, it is required to make proper schedule of all the
activities and all the activities must be managed by the manager in a sequencing order. To start a new
activity, it is first compulsory to finish the ongoing activity so that it avoids coincide. An
example can be taken from this case as it shows that the project manager identifies all the
activities which start after finishing the first task (Bakliwal.2011).
Resources are very scare in nature. To avoid the wastage of resources and to use them in an optimum way
it is required for the manager to pay attention toward the budget limit. Company always allots budget for
each project, and it is the keen responsibility of the manager to complete the project in the given budget.
The case shows an example that the manger of Waston Ltd. Has discussed all the activities with the
management so that they can allot the resources and time to each activity. Proper planning must be there
while allocating cost to each activity. When it comes to quality, first priority is always given to cost.

Project manager must take care about the standards and quality (Brophy, 2002). The project manager
must have the quality to deal with the risk factor. To minimize the risk element in any project, it is the
responsibility of the project manager to manage the risk in a proper way so that the project does not get
affected by the risk. An example can be taken from the case. The project manager has faced a problem in
supply but he must be ready with another alternative so that the whole project does not get delayed. In
every organization, the project manager must have the quality to recruit best candidate among alternatives
so as to make best staff. This helps in completing the task within the time period (Rastogi. 2010). The case
is about a company that deals in auto parts. Organizational awareness helps the managers to get the
information about the needs and requirements. To achieve the goals of the organization, managers must
make formal and informal structures so as to get all the required aspects with regards to achievement of the
goals. The terms of the market is more competitive plans accordingly (Brophy, 2004).
