The Burgos Cathedral is a Catholic cathedral dedicated to the Virgin Mary located in Burgos, Spain. Construction began in the 13th century and additions were made until the 18th century, and it now receives over 100,000 visitors annually. In 1994 it became a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Monastery of Horezu in Romania was built between 1690-1693 and preserves a library of 16th century texts. In 1993 it also became a UNESCO World Heritage site.
