Strategic planning and strong leadership are the two fundamental building blocks for long-term business success. Without these, companies lose their way and struggle to survive as competitors remain innovative and on course. Leaders without an integrated strategic planning system spend their time everywhere but focused on guiding the business towards its goals. In contrast, leaders with a coherent strategic planning system in place can spend more time working on the business and meeting objectives. Establishing a strategic planning system will show the path to realizing a company's vision and goals, whereas being reactive without one leaves a business vulnerable to constant crisis.
