Day 1: 15 Aug: Hanoi arrival (.…)
Our person will pick you up at the airport, transfer to your hotel in Hanoi and free for your
personal activities.
Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Day 2: 16 Aug: Hanoi City Tour – Lao Cai (B,L)
Our guide will pick you up at your hotel at 8:00- 8:30 AM to visit Hanoi city tour.
Today, we will spend a full day to visit the city. We start with visit to President Ho Chi Minh's
mausoleum and residence. We also visit the famous One Pillar Pagoda nearby. Leaving the
President's complex, we continue to visit the Temple of Literature (Văn Miếu). Although several
Văn Miếu can be found throughout Vietnam, the most prominent and famous is that situated in the
city of Hanoi, and was functioned as Vietnam's first university
After lunch in a local restaurant, we go to the Museum of Ethnology, which is an excellent museum
containing the ethnic costumes of the various minorities of Vietnam, as well as relics, tools and
even full size replicas of their homes and buildings.
Come back your hotel at 16:00 and waiting our person who will pick you up at your hotel at 19:15
transfer you to Hanoi Station to Lao Cai.

Day 3: 17 Aug: Lao Cai – Sapa Trekking (B,L,D)
You are picked from the station in Lao Cai to transfer to Sapa. Breakfast upon arrival to Sapa. We
will then walk around the small town, visit Sapa market before starting our hard trek of 12 km to
visit Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority. After lunch at a local family in Lao
Chai or in a drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay
where we stay overnight in a local family. Here you have opportunity to experience their daily life,
work and original custom.
Come back to Sapa.

Day 4: 18 Aug: Sapa – Bac Ha market – Lao Cai (B,L,D)
After breakfast at your hotel, transfer you to Bac Ha market by shuttled bus.
As you get close to The market, you will see lot of Flower H’mong with their horses loading with
selling’s along the way. Arriving at the most crowded time of the market you will join some
thousands local tribal peoples such as Flower H’mong, Tay, Zao and Phu La who are in their
colorful traditional dresses shoping, talking, enjoying food…The most colorful part is clothes section
while the most interesting ones probably the food stalls and animal market. Be noted that the

2. small animals such as chicken, piggy… are sold in narrow ground at the main market place but
buffaloes, horses market lies about 3 hundred meters away near the main motor way. Some hours
getting excited with the market activities and festive atmosphere, Lunch will be serve d in a local
restaurant with set menu and you may try H’mong home made corn wine. We will also visit the
near by palace of the H'mong King.
Afternoon will be highlighted with a short walk around Ban Pho Village of the Flower H’mong and
Tay peoples which includes some small hamlets set amongst lush plump gardens, terraced paddies
and mountain back drops for a local breath. We will then take the drive to Lao Cai, have a dinner.
Take the train come back to Hanoi.

Day 5: 19 Aug: Hanoi – Hoa Lu – Tam Coc (L)
Arrive Hanoi station very early morning at 4:30. Take a taxi by yourself come back your hotel in
Hanoi – Hanoi Moment I hotel (no room) waiting the shuttled bus to Hoa Lu Tam Coc.
Our guide will pick you up at 8:00 from your hotel to visit Hoa Lu – Tam Coc for 100 km down the
South of Hanoi to see Hoa Lu Citadel, the first Capital of Vietnam in the 10th century with visiting
to these two remaining structures. The first one is dedicated to the Dinh Dynasty. The second one
commemorates the Le Rulers. In front of these temples is the rugged Ma Yen mount; it involves a
walk over 200 steps for a fantastic view over the surrounding areas. The following sight is Tam
Coc which is surnamed “Halong Bay on land”. We board a sampan for a leisurely trip through the
quiet and peaceful landscape of rice fields surrounded by towering limestone cliffs to the grottoes
of Tam Coc. The trip ends after arrival in Ha Noi at 18:00-18:30

Our visiting sites includes Old Imperial City, Flag Tower, Thien Mu Pagoda, Royal Tombs of Tu Duc
and Khai Dinh. Our exciting day ends with romantic cruise on the Perfume River with music on
boat.

Day 9: 23 Aug: Hue- Hoi An (Bus) at 8:00 (B)
Today, you will take the taxi to our pointed place for the bus to Hoian town - Journey south along
Highway 1 past the Hai Van Pass and Lang Co.
Upon arrival to Hoian, take a walking tour to visit the ancient town with all major interesting sites:
Ong Pagoda, Hoi An Museum, Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, Assembly Hall of
Cantonese Chinese Congregation.

Day 10: 24 Aug: Hoi An- My Son (B)
Pickup at the hotel at 8:00 Am for transfer to My Son Holy Land, a World Heritage, 50 km
southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham
people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the
same league as some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in
Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers
and sanctuaries was built from the 7 to 13 centuries.
Back to the town in the afternoon.

Day 11: 25 Aug: Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang (B)
Free time until your fight at 16:00 to Nha Trang.
Our driver will pick you up at your hotel at 13:30 to Da Nang airport.

Day 15: 29 Aug: Sai Gon – Cao Dai – Cu Chi tunnels (B)
Our driver will pick you up at your hotel at 7:45.
We will start from your hotel to visit the Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh (120 km) where daily Mass is
done by the Cao daism followers at noon. Cao Dai is a combination of Buddhism, Confucianism,
Taoism, native Vietnamese spiritualism, Christianity and Islam. After lunch, we head to Cu Chi
Tunnels. The tunnels cover an extensive underground network (approximately 200 kilometers) of
tunnels dug initially by the Viet Minh and later expanded by the Viet Cong. The tunnels contained
hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used extensively for refuge and storage and
also utilized as a military base for the Viet Cong close to Saigon. The 1968 Tet Offensive was
launched from Cu Chi with surprising effect. A section of the tunnels has been widened to allow

4. tourists to get a feel for what the life underground must have been like (please note that this will
be hot and sweaty and also a bit claustrophobic!).

Day 16: 30 Aug: Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – My Thuan – Sa Dec (B,L,D)
Our shuttled bus will pick you up at 8:00 at your hotel.
11h00: we board Le Cochinchine boat and enjoy welcome drink. We will then explore the lively Cai
Be floating market and cruising amongst the mazes of waterway to visit the handicraft villages and
meet with local people. Here, we visit the old house and sample various tropical fruits.
We arrive in Vinh long in the afternoon. We disembark for a walk or bike for sightseeing tour of the
Cu lao Binh Hoa Phuoc before cruising to Can Tho via Cho Lach and Tra On. Here, we visit the Cho
Lach village and take a tour on foot or by bike on the footpaths of the countryside to discover
tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities. En-route to visit a cottage industry, a local
farm and sample seasonal fruits. We will then keep cruising to continue to Mang Thit. Enjoy the
magnificent sunset on the river. Leisurely cruise up the Mekong River while enjoying the beautiful
scenery and the aperitifs, sunset cruise.
A wonderful day with picturesque ferry crossings over Mekong River branches.
Dinner and night on the Le Cochinchine Cruise in Tra On.
Day 17: 31 Aug: Tra On – Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh. (B)
Rising up to the sound of River and Mekong Delta coming to life for another lovely day we enjoy
the sunset. After breakfast, we cruise along the cannels and visit a village on the bank of Co
Chien. Here, we will have the opportunity see the way of life of the local inhabitants, and their
hospitality. Leisurely cruise up the Bassac River while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the
river. Upon arrival to Can Tho, we visit the Cai Rang market, one of the most bustling floating
markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats laden fruits barging and jostling for space
as owners attempt to sell their goods. Boat through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and
green orchards, ship building yards, local markets in full swing.
11h00 Check out and disembark the Le Cochinchine Cruise. The cruise concludes.
Come back Ho Chi Minh by shuttled bus.
Overnight in Hanoi hotel.
Day 18: 1 Sept: Ho Chi Minh depart (B)
Free time until your departure.
Our driver will pick you up at your hotel transfer to Ho Chi Minh airport.
