2. Day 2 (16th Aug) HO CHI MINH / CAO DAI / CU CHI (B,L)
8.30, drive to Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh to observe the midday service. Cao Dai is a
combination of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and Christianity. After lunch, we drive to
Cu Chi Tunnels – the famous base during US – Vietnam war.

Day 3 (17th Aug) HO CHI MINH – BEN TRE – HO CHI MINH (B,L)
8.30, our driver and tour guide meet you at your hotel after breakfast, transfer you to Ben
Tre (about 2 hours). Arrive at Ben Tre town, take a boat trip around Ben Tre river, sight-
seeing local activities on river. Stop to see how people make bricks, salts. Coconut worshop.
Boat on Cai Son and Nhon Thanh creeks to see some family making mats. Take a motor cart
(xe loi) or bicycle ride. Pass by rice fields and vegetable plains to know how to culture in
country.
12h.00 Stop to Mr. Hai Ho’s home to learn cooking local food. 13h.00 lunch. In the afternoon,
take a rowing-boat along water palm creek. Boating a long Cai Coi creek back to Ben Tre
city. Upon to your request, we can visit some markets in Ben Tre city to know more about
the local’s life. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Car pick you up at 8.00 to transfer you to Tan Son Nhat Airport airport. Today we will fly

Day 5 (19th Aug) HOI AN / TRA QUE VEGETABLE VILLAGE (B,L)
9:00 : Meet up our tourguide and start riding bicycle to a local farm in Tra Que village.
Introduction to the history of the village, the cultivation of the vegetables as well as
discovering about the use of vegetables in traditional Vietnamese medicine. You will take a
trip around the vegetable garden and join the farmers in preparing the land and fertilizing it
with seaweed from the local lake. Continue doing activities such as raking, sowing, watering
greens, picking greens and many more gardening activities. Then spend the rest of the
morning working the land in the time honoured way, before breaking to prepare lunch with
a local family. Your lunch will consist of many local delicacies including tam huu spring roll,
Banh xeo or the local pancake of the people from the middle region. After your lunch and
the exertions of the morning, take an even more traditional Vietnamesepost-prandial nap
before learning how to harvest anh wrap the vegetables.
Around 15.00, bid farewell to your host family before riding back to Hoi An, on the way
back shop at Nhat tomb and Ba Le well. The tour finishes at 16.00.

4. Day 6 (20th Aug) HOI AN –LANG CO BEACH -HUE (B,L)
At 8.am, you are pick up at your hotel to to tranfer Hue. On the way, you will visit Hai Van
Pass, Marble Mountain, Lang Co Beach.

Day 7 (21st Aug) HUE CITY TOUR (B,L)
At 8am, depart from your hotel in Hue, we start our day with a leisurely boat trip on the
romantically named Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the oldest religious
structures with its famous seven-storey octagonal-shaped tower. Continue with guided
touring around the Imperial Citadel, visiting the Noon Gate and Forbidden City. After
exploring the ruins of this wonderful monument, depart for lunch at a local restaurant to try
some renowned Hue cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will drive out Hue outskirt to visit Tu Duc Tomb, the most typical tomb
in Hue which was used as the second palace of King Tu Duc before his death. Then visit
Khai Dinh Tomb, the gaudy and crumbling tomb, famous for its grandiose concrete
structure, which is completely unlike other tombs in Hue.
Transfer to the station to get the train from Hue to Hanoi.

Day 8 (22nd Aug) HANOI CITY TOUR(B,L)
You will arrive in Hanoi at early morning. Early check in a New Moon hotel near the
railway station to take bath, have breakfast and relax after night train.
8.30, meet up with our tour guide at hotel lobby. Start a day visit Hanoi City with the most
interesting sights, including: Ho Chi Minh Complex: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and His Stilt
House, Presidential Palace and One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to Temple of Literature. Lunch
in local restaurant. In the afternoon visit Ethnology Museum, and after that visit Hoan Kiem
Lake and Old Quarter, end of the day by water puppet show. Back to your hotel at around
5.30pm

Day 9 (23rd Aug) HANOI - HALONG (B,L,D)
8.30, transfer to Halong. About 11.30-12.00, you are welcomed on boat and have set lunch
while cruising in the bay. Depends on which cruise you choose, the detailed itinerary will
basically included visit Amazing cave, kayaking (extra option), and swimming in crystal
water and enjoy the landscape.

Day 10 (24th Aug) HALONG – HANOI – LAO CAI (B)
Breakfast on boat. Cruise back to Halong City. Our driver is waiting for you to transfer back
to Hanoi at about 4pm. Check in a New Moon hotel nearby train station for the night train to
Sapa. Free for your own leisure until dinner. From your hotel, walk to the train station
yourself and board the night train to Lao Cai.

Get pick up early by our private transfer to Sapa. Check in hotel (if room available) and have
breakfast in local restaurant. Around 9.00, trek around 10 km to visit 2 villages of the Black
H'mong-Cat Cat. Transfer by car from Cat Cat back to Sapa roughly at 12.00. Afternoon,
free to enjoy yourselves in the town, visit the Sapa Market and Church and explore the
town.

7. Day 12 (26th Aug) SAPA – LAO CHAI- TA VAN- GIANG TA CHAI- SAPA (B,L)
After having a breakfast, you will start your journey from Sapa by car to Lao Chai village,
home to Black H’mong ethnic minority people. You will enjoy a pleasant walk from Lao
Chai to Tavan village, home to Dzay hill tribal people. Here you will have a rest and enjoy
delicious lunch, prepared by your guide in a local house. After lunch the walk continues for
about 2 hours through a bamboo forest, waterfalls and mountainous scenery to Giang Ta
Chai village, home to Red Dzao ethnic group. After exploring the village and taking a rest at
the nearby waterfall to refresh, you will be picked up by car back to Sapa at the end of the
trip.

Day 13 (27th Aug) SAPA – DRAGON MOUNTAIN – LAO CAI - HANOI (B,L)
After breakfast at the Hotel, the guide will take you to visit the Dragon Mountain in Sapa,
where you can enjoy the beautiful view over Sapa town, enjoy the traditional Music (at
9am), to walk around black rock mountains and many kinds of flowers like orchids and
roses. Then you will come back to the hotel to take a rest before check-out. Free in the
afternoon.
Late of the day, get pick up and transfer to Lao Cai for catching night train to Hanoi. You
can have a dinner on your own at one of the restaurants around Lao Cai Station.

BOOKING PROCEDURE
(1) Travel Sense Asia requires at least 50% advance deposit to hold the booking. This
amount can be paid by credit card (through our secured payment system) , PayPal or bank
transfer. We accept Visa, Maser and AMEX Card.
(2) Remainder of total cost can be paid at Travel Sense Asia ’s office in cash or credit card.
HOTEL CHECK IN- CHECK OUT TIME
Hotel Check in time: 14.00- Check out time is 12h00.
Early check in or late checkout time may be granted subject to availability and agreement
by the participating hotels.

10. RESPONSIBILITY
Except in situations beyond human control, Travel Sense Asia will be held responsible for
any additional expense resulting from the change caused by us in itinerary, transportation,
accommodation.
Except in situations beyond human control, Travel Sense Asia shall provide compensatory
service for participants or refund the difference in payment for service rendered below
standard.
The detailed program and schedule flights are subject to changes by airline without prior
notice and in accordance with the weather conditions and daily operation of flights.
Consequently, itinerary concerned might be adjusted. If this occurs, Travel Sense Asia will
do all in its power to assist participants in boarding flights or finding alternative
arrangements. Note however that it is done as a courtesy to participants and Travel Sense
Asia cannot be held responsible for denied boarding, nor for additional costs occurred.
POLICY REGARDING CANCELLATION / NO SHOW / EARLY DEPARTURE
At Travel Sense Asia we do our best to minimize cancellation penalty for our guests but we
must abide by the cancelation policy of each service provider.
A. Cancellation from the Customers:
Where the Customer cancels the Tour reservation, then the effective date of cancellation
will be the date the Company receives written notification. The cancellation charge to the
Customer is listed below.
• >30 days: deposit is forfeited
• 30-08 days: 50% of the Tour price is forfeited
• 07-03 days: 75% of the Tour price is forfeited
• 48 hours and no-show: 100% charge
For the avoidance of doubt, since some suppliers (hotels, cruise companies) have
cancellation policies that are different from those of Travel Sense Asia, the cancellation
charge may, at the Company’s discretion, be adjusted accordingly.
Customer will be required to pay for flight tickets, train tickets if it is issued before
customer inform the company the cancellation.
B. Cancellation by Travel Sense Asia
If the Tour is not paid for by the due date, the Company shall have the right to cancel the
Tour. If we, at the request of the Customer, agrees to delay cancellation of the Tour
then the Company still cancels the Tour for the Customer’s non-payment, the cancellation
charges set out shall apply and be payable by the Customer.
TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel Sense Asia highly recommends you to have travel insurance when travelling around
Asia.
